| A lot of people say that pupils should learn | |
| a musical instrument in school whether they like it | |
| or not. I don't agree with the statement above. Children | |
| should do whatever they want. Let me explain you | |
| more specifically. | |
| First of all some students hate playing musical | |
| instruments. Other students just don't like it even | |
| if they never try it. I am one of them. We can't | |
| force children learn something they don't want. When | |
| they go to school they should have fun and teacher | |
| should not put pressure on them. For example my | |
| best friend has tried to learn piano once before. | |
| She didn't like it so she stopped it. But her teacher | |
| in school is telling her all the time to play piano. | |
| She is annoying. What I'm trying to say is that | |
| some kids don't like music and teachers should understand it. | |
| Moreover some students can't play musical | |
| instruments. They don't have this skill so it's more | |
| difficult for them. They may have tried it before | |
| and they still can't play a musical instrument. Some | |
| students make fun of them but there are students | |
| that need their time to learn something. So I think they | |
| will feel embarrassed if they can't play. For example my | |
| cousin had to learn guitar for her school. She has a | |
| difficulty with music so she messed up a lot of times. | |
| Some kids made fun of her. As a result she stopped | |
| music even thought she liked it. | |
| To sum up, children should not learn a musical | |
| instrument in school unless they like it. If some student | |
| feel pressure of doing it they should stop it. Teachers | |
| don't have to force them and I'm sure that children | |
| will feel better. |
