A lot of people say that pupils should learn a musical instrument in school whether they like it or not. I don't agree with the statement above. Children should do whatever they want. Let me explain you more specifically. First of all some students hate playing musical instruments. Other students just don't like it even if they never try it. I am one of them. We can't force children learn something they don't want. When they go to school they should have fun and teacher should not put pressure on them. For example my best friend has tried to learn piano once before. She didn't like it so she stopped it. But her teacher in school is telling her all the time to play piano. She is annoying. What I'm trying to say is that some kids don't like music and teachers should understand it. Moreover some students can't play musical instruments. They don't have this skill so it's more difficult for them. They may have tried it before and they still can't play a musical instrument. Some students make fun of them but there are students that need their time to learn something. So I think they will feel embarrassed if they can't play. For example my cousin had to learn guitar for her school. She has a difficulty with music so she messed up a lot of times. Some kids made fun of her. As a result she stopped music even thought she liked it. To sum up, children should not learn a musical instrument in school unless they like it. If some student feel pressure of doing it they should stop it. Teachers don't have to force them and I'm sure that children will feel better.
