Model description

Built with Meta Llama 3 (Fine tuning with Qlora)

This model is based on WangchanX Fine-tuning Pipeline.

The WLLama 8B Physics Model is a large language model fine-tuned specifically for physics-related tasks using the Thai-Physics-Data-40K dataset. It is designed to solve problems, explain concepts, and assist in education and research in physics, with a focus on Thai language content. Based on the LaMA-8B architecture, this model excels in providing detailed answers and generating educational material for physics learners and professionals.

Dataset

This model was trained on the Thai-Physics-Data-40K dataset, which contains 40,000 high-quality entries, including:

  • Multiple-choice questions with detailed explanations.
  • Numerical problems with step-by-step solutions.
  • Conceptual explanations of physics topics.

The dataset is designed to provide a balanced and comprehensive learning resource for physics education in the Thai language.

Limitations

  • Language Bias: Primarily optimized for Thai; may underperform for non-Thai inputs.
  • Accuracy: Model outputs should be verified for correctness, particularly in high-stakes or research scenarios.
  • Compute Requirements: Requires high-memory GPUs for inference due to its size (8 billion parameters).
