Dear Ms. Wagner, I am writing in response to your request about our opinion on your decision to make some changes in our school's rales. I think we have to make some charges in ralles in order to make our school environment friendlier to students. To begin with, a basic rule in our school is, if you are late, you will be punished. It is a rule that really stresses kids out, because they have to wake up extremely early in the morning and do everything really fast. This is really hard, especially for teenagers who need to have a good sleep because both their body and brain start to develop and sleep helps. But since they have to wake up that early, they do not have enough sleep and that may affect their schoolwork too. Additionally, sometimes when students are being late, it is not even their fault. Most of the parents work and go through that rush too so in order to not be late at work, they prefer to let their kid be late at school. So, it is unfair to punish students without being their fault. Secondly, another rule that should be changed is having one excursion a year. I thinks there must be more than one excursion every year since an excursion can be both entertaining and educational for schoolchildren. Interesting excursions could be visits in museums, there we could learn lots of useful information about the past and our culture or even help us to be better students in history. Another nice excursion could be doing enviromental activities in nature. This way, we could learn about our environment and how to protect it. Summing up, I think our school would be better if we changed these rules. I hope you consider my suggestion and make the right changes for our good! Yours faithfully Raphaelia Papadopoulou
