Some people believe that learning a

musical instrument at school should be mandatory. On the
other hand, others support that this should be
optional. I am of the opinion that, learning such
a difficult thing like a musical instrument should
not be required because it will lead to many issues.

First and foremost, learning how to play
guitar or piano won't help you in every day
situations like maths. If someone loves playing
music then yes, they should teach them at school.
Moreover, some students may find it difficult
to play a music instrument and their grades
will drop by something that not only they didn't want
but also, by something that isn't going to help them
in their lives.

In addition, it would be extremely hard to
show in twenty five students at the same time,
the basics of piano or flute. Last but not
least, this will cause angry students that will
argue over and over again with their
teachers.

Taking all things into consideration, I firmly
believe that, learning a musical instrument
should not be mandatory because it will cause
all the problems I mentioned above.
