Dear Ms. Wagner, First of all I welcome you to our school. I recently heard that you are taking suggestions about some changes that can be done to our school rules. As a student of this school, I would like to voice and my opinion. To start with, there is a rule that many students usually complain about. That would be dressing code. Unfortunately, there are currently many restrictions about what a student should be wearing during school hours. I believe that most of them should be changed. This is mostly because I think that teenagers should wear what makes them comfortable, and not others. Clothes are a way to expresse ourselves, which is why I suggest that it should be allowed at school too, as long as it is appropriate of course. Another rule I would like to talk about is the rule of not being allowed by teachers to retake a test. There are numerous reason why someone would fail a test. It could be that they didn't study enough, were having a bad day or simply because they were stressing too much. Whatever the excuse is as long as it is valid, pupils should be given a second chance, so that they can show what they are truly capable of. Taking everything into account, these are in my opinion, two of the most important rules that should be changed. I am sure that you will make the right desicion. I hope you take my nomination into account, and thank you in advance. Sincerely Joanna Smith
