I have recently heard about the fact that from
now and on all students must learn how to play 
a musical instrument. The way I see it, it is not a 
very smart thing to do and I totally disagree.


To begin with, some students may have more talent
than others and some may have no talent at all.
As a result, they will not be able to keep up
with each other and some students will giver up.
In addition, it will cost a great fortune for the
school to provide all students with musical instruments
as most of them are very expensive.


The last reason why all students should not be
required to learn how to play a musical instrument
is that all of the students who want to graduate
from school and get good marks may not have
enough time in order to both study for school and
study for a musical instrument. Consequently, most of
them will struggle a lot with combining the two and
fall behind of school.


To sum up, I strongly believe that not all students
should be required to learn how to play a musical
instrument if they do not want to. In my opinion
it has to stop being implemented the way it is 
at the moment.
