| Music is a great weapon against depression and anxiety. | |
| That is why it is my firm belief that students should be required to | |
| play a musical instrument. | |
| First and foremost, pupils have a lot to study | |
| in their everyday life. In other words, they get really | |
| anxious about getting done with their projects. | |
| Consequently, if they know how to play a musical | |
| instrument, they will have the chance to relax from | |
| their studies, whenever they want. | |
| Furthermore, having learned how to play a musical | |
| instrument may lead to a musical career in the | |
| future. For instance, if someone becomes passionate about | |
| music, they will already have the requirements to follow their | |
| dreams. | |
| Last but not least, playing a musical instrument | |
| will surely help the students in their studies too. | |
| As a result they will get better grades at the | |
| end of the school semesters. | |
| Taking all the above into consideration playing a musical instrument | |
| is very important for the students' mental health, | |
| their studies and their future, as an adult. |
