| Many kids nowadays enjoy music so they | |
| decide to start learning how to play a | |
| musical instrument. This decision is made | |
| exclusively by them and this is why I believe | |
| that students shouldn't be forced to learn | |
| how to play one. | |
| First and foremost, it is common knowledge | |
| that there are many students out there | |
| who do not want to play a musical | |
| instrument and forcing them to learn | |
| how to play one, is not going to make | |
| them more passionate about it. Instead, | |
| they're going to feel pressured and start | |
| losing interest in music. | |
| Additionally students already have most | |
| important school duties to deal with | |
| and by adding one more thing to study | |
| for, they are being even more pressured | |
| and as a result, they will start failing in | |
| other important subjects. | |
| To sum up, I believe that it would be | |
| wrong to force students to learn how to | |
| play a musical instrument, because not | |
| only some of them don't want to learn | |
| how to play one in the first place, but | |
| also, it could cause problems on their | |
| grades on more significant subjects. | |
