| I am a 14-year old student and I am writing in | |
| connection with the article I read about creating | |
| a public space for teenagers. In my view, there | |
| are numerous ways that this goal can be | |
| achieved and I would like to make some suggestions | |
| about the type of the public place and the resources | |
| that can be included. | |
| First of all, I believe that the public place should be | |
| a recreation center where teenagers can relax, | |
| socialize, disconnect from the real world and | |
| release their stress and anxiety. Teens can be provided | |
| with a wide variety of activities such as chess, | |
| board games, card games etc. Sport facilities could | |
| be also constructed such as tennis, basketball court etc. | |
| In this way, teens will be given the opportunity to | |
| participate in what appeals to their interest and | |
| keep fit at the same time. | |
| In addition, a small cinema should be built carefully where | |
| teens can watch documentaries about social, environmental | |
| and economical problems. Consequently, they | |
| will become more sensitive and awareness will be | |
| raised about the importance of these major issues. | |
| Taking all the above into consideration, I am of the | |
| opinion that the construction project will be a | |
| huge success and an unforgettable experience for | |
| all the teenagers. | |
