Dear Ms. Wagners I am writing in response to your question on which school rules the students think should be changed. My suggestion is phones in ischool excursions. When we visit a museum or go to the citys park, school doesn't allow students to take their phones with them. This is being done because you students to enjoy the route, learn and see new things they have never seen before, visit new places and even make new friends. But this can't be done when student lock into a screen all of the time. But by banning students to take their phones with them you're banning the only way of communication with their families they've got. Students need to have contact with their relatives in case of an emergency if they get sick and if they get hurt. I believe what you need to do is not to ban students from taking their phones with them on school trips, but to ban students from using them during the trip. They can switch their mobile devices on only when they need to. I hope my suggestion proves to be useful and is taken into consideration. Yours faithfully, Marios Papagiannopoules |
